Eight Point Program for Liberty and Prosperity in 2014
EIGHT POINT PROGRAM FOR 2014
I. Recognize and apply these self-evident truths: “We are all created equal and endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable Rights. That among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among us, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed”.
II. Respect and defend the U.S. and New Jersey Constitutions which secure the rights of each of us to make the most important decisions affecting our own lives, by limiting the power of government officials to control us.
III. Make all laws and taxes simple and easily understood, and apply them equally to everyone.
IV. Repudiate (refuse to pay) any state government debts not approved by voters as required by the New Jersey State Constitution.
V. Post all state, county, local, and public school salaries and contracts on the internet for free public access at all times.
VI. Allow each citizen to freely work for any employer who chooses to hire him or her without being forced to join or support any organization as a condition of that employment.
VII. Allow parents to apply their share of state public education money to the schools they choose for the education of their children
VIII. Give citizens and elected officials the right to easily place non-binding public questions on every election ballot to determine public opinion on any issue of public importance.
(The 2014 Liberty Program will be finalized at our January 2014 business meeting and is subject to change.)
